Donia took her first Bodylogos class with Tammy Wise in the late 1990s, and quickly became a convert.
In addition to taking classes, she trained privately with Tammy several times, most notably in preparation for her wedding, and the more she learned about the practice the more interested she became in it.
In 2015, after more than a decade of taking classes, Allen decided to pursue a long-held dream of becoming certified to teach Bodylogos.
Allen feels that the strength of Bodylogos lies in its emphasis on the connection between mind, body and spirit. This multi-dimensional approach makes the practice less about quick results and more about a holistic, long-term approach to physical and emotional strength, flexibility and resilience.
She lives in New York City and Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
